After blogging for two years as one of the Guardian newspaper's Top London Bloggers, I launched my travel blog in 2011. In addition to being a personal travel diary documenting and reviewing where I've been and what I've done, As the Bird flies... is also an insight into my interests and personality; it's where I review books, pick a weekly song and share sources of travel and life inspiration.
A keen snowboarder and an enthusiastic mermaid wannabe, I love Japanese sushi, Scandinavian pop music and New York style cheesecake. When I'm not getting lost in a new city or crafting out copy for clients, I'm working on my first collection of short stories.
